When you instantly connect with someone its like nature or divine providence aligned everything together for a Disney like moment to happen.
When I met Chandler for the first time it was pretty much this kind of epic, instant connection of creative souls, coffee addicts and Jesus lovers friendship that was created in a split second while she designed my new calligraphy logo for my business. That was a year and one month ago. At the time she was hanging out again with a friend/old crush from the past, a guy named Jesse. She blushed and smiled from ear to ear when she talked about them hanging out again and getting to talk like the old days. She was smitten.
Fast forward to this March, when two imperfect people, whose core was the love they shared in a perfect Savior, joined together to be one. A red-headed fiery creative Chandler, marrying her bearded, funny and kind-hearted Jesse. When people write stories of two people fitting, I feel like Chandler and Jesse would be the leading roles to play this script. The heart they share for one another is uncanny. It illuminates from their heart and shines so brightly in the way they smile, laugh and love one another so deeply & unconditionally. When you watch them you kind of just stand in awe of not only their zeal for life, but the way they give of themselves to the ones who surround them.
It is never about Jesse & Chandler.
It is about giving all they have to family, friends and those who are in need of the most important thing in their lives; the love of Christ. Their day was nothing short of a testament to who they give all credit to, for where their lives ended up, and how they found each other again. The importance of making the covenant and vows they were taking the very centerfold of their ceremony. It was refreshing to my soul. Despite being younger they saw where the value of their words would be more than just mere words in their life, but the cornerstone for where their anchor of marriage would hold steady.
Beyond anything it was a day of love. It was a day of pure joy and community. It was a day I truly will cherish being apart of in so many ways.
I am also so thankful for Chandler being a bride willing to think outside the box, to venture for creativity and be inspired to do her wedding exactly how she pictured it. I also am so blessed she trusted me to be in my creative realm not only with my photographs but her willingness to allow me to give encouragement in certain areas of the day, planning a timeline, give comments with elements of design and styling. She is my heart bride!!! Thank you guys both for allowing me this beautiful honor of capturing your day, it was nothing short of just epic perfection. I wish and pray the very best ahead on this new journey you are on and I hope to always be your “magical photo fairy” for years to come!
