I love a couple who isn’t afraid of being in their own style, their own uniqueness. Katie & Aron are just those two people and absolutely refreshing in every way! When Katie asked about being their photographer she shared a few ideas through Pinterest and thoughts along the way & I instantly knew I was going to love shooting with them. Katie wanted to show off their future home and its a perfect mixture of Anthropologie meets H&M goodness! Seriously though I have always wanted to shoot an in home engagement and this place was perfection for this. Aron is a barista so coffee was a must with these two and I didn’t mind it at all because I’m an addict of coffee in the biggest way.
Katie and Aron meet through the college BCM at ULM and found friendship which love came but it was already so natural and comfortable their hanging outs and stuff that it really just became an understood DUH? We like love each other kind of deal. They are getting married this October and I am so thrilled to be asked to capture their day!
We just enjoyed conversation, coffee and some guitar strumming at Katie’s bungalow then headed to the river levee to shoot some outside and Katie likes to dabble in film photography so we brought her camera along as well! I loved this shoot more than I probably should and really enjoyed pushing my normal natural outdoor light sessions for a little more moody and soulful indoor time!
Katie & Aron you guys rock my socks!
