We all want to know its warm embrace, we want to understand its wonderful power to change our hearts instantaneously. We want to let it be our best friend and solace in time of need. Love takes on so many forms for so many of us during seasons of life. Love is an answer, a laugh, a dance, a tear etc.
Love when we need it most somehow seems to take on the exact prescription we need in that very moment it needs to be found. I love shooting all these beautiful forms of love. Every story unique and every love story in a form of its own for each couple I come across.
Nicholas was on staff at YWAM Orlando, which is a missionary organization for students. While there he came to Chattanooga to visit their mutual friend Stephen Scarborough and while hanging out in Chatt got to meet Kristin. After that Kristin decided she felt lead to go to YWAM as well by this time Nicholas had left to pursue a new season; but while she was there they really became great friends over phone calls, texts, video chats. Kristin then headed to Turkey for her three-month mission trip and after she returned home Nicholas decided to ask her out. From that point on they were inseparable. They dated almost a year and half long distance while and even made two trips to Turkey to share the love of Christ with the Turkish people.
Kristin & Nic your love radiates the inner joy you both share because of your faith with Christ. It is full of joy and a rejoicing over one another! Nic I loved watching you when you saw Kristin. Everything in your eyes spoke such a deep unwavering love for your wife. Every girl should be looked at how you look at Kristin. Kristin when you smile it encompasses all the respect, endearing love and sheer happiness you have in calling Nic yours.
I am so grateful for the friendship I was so lucky to find in Tennessee through so many crazy connections that brought us together and that I was able to document this momentous day in both your lives. I loved every moment of this intimate day in Kristin’s home backyard surrounded by their closest friends & family! I hope you both treasure these photographs for years to come:)
